Goyatek Picks Incentia's DesignCraft for Synthesis
Fast Runtime & Performance Results Critical for Semiconductor IP Development

SANTA CLARA, Calif. & HSINCHU, Taiwan--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 3, 2004--Incentia Design Systems, Inc., an EDA company in the synthesis and timing market, and Goyatek Technology Inc., a leading ASIC design services and Intellectual Property (IP) provider and member of the Design Center Alliance (DCA) program of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Ltd. (TSMC), today announced that Goyatek selected Incentia's DesignCraftR for the logic synthesis of its USB 2.0 device controller IP design.

About Goyatek's USB 2.0 Device Controller IP

Goyatek's USB 2.0 Device Controller IP is highly configurable. It can be programmed for different transfer modes, such as control transfer, bulk transfer, interrupt transfer and isochronous transfer. Its applications include file transfer, human interfaces and video or audio products. It supports 8 bits/16 bits MCU, Direct Memory Access (DMA) for asynchronous data transfer and Fast Memory Access (FMA) for synchronous data transfer. Goyatek has completed the functional verification of this IP together with its USB 2.0 Transceiver IP, which passed the USB 2.0 Peripherals Device High Speed Certification from the USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF). Together, they provide customers with a total solution for development of their own USB-related products.

Incentia's Synthesis and Timing Software Products

Incentia offers three major products for synthesis and timing analysis. TimeCraftR is a full-chip, gate-level static timing analyzer, offering fast analysis speed for timing sign-off and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). DesignCraft is a logic synthesis tool with datapath, test and low power options. DesignCraft Pro(TM) is a physical synthesis tool that solves timing closure and issues and shortens turnaround time. All products are based upon a unified timing engine and database and address the ever growing design requirements of speed, performance and capacity.
