Dr. Ihao Chen, President and CEO
Dr. Chen has over 20 years experience in EDA research, development, and management. Prior to founding Incentia, Dr. Chen was the co-founder and VP Engineering of ACEO Technologies, Inc. He also served as senior consultant to the CAD Lab at Sun Microsystems, held management positions in SynTest and Cadence, and worked as CAD researcher at Texas Instruments. Dr. Chen received his BSEE degree from National Taiwan University and his M.S. and PhD degrees from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Carnegie-Mellon University. Dr. Chen is the author of 8 US patents and has several other US patents pending.

Dr. Shing-Chong Chang, VP Engineering
Dr. Chang has over 20 years experience in EDA research, development, and management. He previously managed and developed several successful EDA products. He was a key architect for the flagship Place & Route products at Avant! and Cooper and Chyan Technology. He also worked as research staff at IBM Watson Research Center. Dr. Chang received his BSEE degree from National Taiwan University and his PhD degree in EE from the University of Maryland. Dr. Chang is the author of US patent featuring the "Path Relaxation Global Optimization" optimization techniques.

Dr. Yen-Chuen Arthur Wei, VP of Operation
Dr. Wei has over 20 years experience in EDA research, development, and management. Prior to joining Incentia, he held RD management position at Avant! He also worked as high-level manager at ACEO Technologies, Inc. and technical staff at Cadence. Dr. Wei received his BSEE degree from National Taiwan University and his PhD degree in CS Department of University of California, San Diego.

Al Lipinski, VP Sales - North America & Europe
Al Lipinski has over 20 years as an international sales and marketing executive with emphasis in EDA, ATE, and Solar Energy. He has extensive experience in the development and management of global sales and marketing channels throughout North America, Europe, Japan, and Asia. Al Lipinski has held management positions with companies such as Xslent Energy Technologies, EVE, Sequence Design, and Virtual Silicon. He was a key contributor to the successful IPO of Meta Software, Hspice, having held the position of Executive VP of Worldwide Sales. Lipinski has had several board positions with companies that address the supply chain and e-commerce industry. Lipinski has a BSEE from Southern Illinois University.

Dr. Kevin (Xuequn) Xiang, Chief Architect
Dr. Xiang has over 20 years experience in EDA research, development, and management. Prior to co-founding Incentia, he was a key architect and technical lead of synthesis, timing, and verification products at Cadence. He is one of the pioneer experts on logic synthesis and Boolean optimization. Dr. Xiang received his BSEE degree from Beijing Normal University and his PhD degree in Computer Science from University of Illinois, Urbana. Dr. Xiang is the author of several US patents in timing synthesis and optimization.
